David Bates' Completes Another Truck!
David’s truck is a 1974 Adventurer p.s., pdb, a.c. converted to 134a, 318, Edelbrock 600, MSD ignition, K& N filters, TCI 727, 323 Suregrip 8 3/4, Cragar Superlites with yellow lettered Goodyear Eagles, tinted windows, Energy Suspension cab and body mount kit, painted the original B5 blue with Dupont chroma base, blue spray in bedliner with rubber mat, and roll pan. The truck features a NOS 77-78 grille and front bumper, NOS park lights, sidemarkers, and taillights. The interior has a Sony cd player, 300 watt amp, 2 10" kicker subs, 2 6 1/2" kicker door speakers, all new weatherstripping and rubbers. New door panels and black carpet from ACC, black vinyl seat with salt and pepper houndstooth insert stitched in the factory pattern highlight the inside. All the work was performed by David in his shop.
UPDATE: David has swapped out the yellow lettered Good Years and Superlites for a new set of 17x8 Eagle Alloys on 255 50 ZR 17 BF Goodrich G Force T/A's. He has also lowered it another 1 1/2" in the front.
