Jeff Herman's RARE 1990 Rod Hall Signature Edition Truck

Jeff's Rod Hall Signature Edition 1990 is #12 of 33 made. This Rod Hall truck is a 318 automatic. They were originally put out in 1987 but the NHTSA halted their sale saying the stiffer suspension was untested and therefore unapproved for sale on production vehicles. All of the 1987s were recalled (all being about 14 or so). The 1990 Rod Hall Signature Edition trucks were done by Caroll Shelby in his Southern California shop. Production was halted when Shelby suffered a heart attack. A total of 33 had been built. Available colors were red, white or black.

Jeff's Rod Hall has been in the Carson City, Nevada area since it was new. It has all it's original equipment, including wheels by Ultra, light bar, rear bumper, grill guard by Hickey, and Rod Hall race series lights. Also original to the truck is the steering wheel and numbered dash plaque. Even the shocks are Rod Hall shocks. The striping was a tribute to Rod Hall's racing trucks. Mopar Collectors Guide did an excellent article on Truck #6 in their March 98 issue. If you would like to know about these truck there is a great website devoted to these trucks at: cacuda.com

Jeff has several other trucks he is working on. A couple of them are on our website. To read about his 1977 Californian Power Wagon. Click HERE.
