Tom Kapish's "MUD" 87 Dodge Ramcharger
Tom's truck is an 87 Dodge Ramcharger with a 4" suspension lift and 33 inch super swampers wrapped around 15x10 American racing rims. The engine is a 440 bored .30 with mild 9 to 1 pistons, a Cowerbeast cam and a Carter 650 cfm carb. The tranny is a 727 mated to a NP208 transfer case. Up front is a Dana 44 with a Trutrac and 4.11 gears and a 9 1/4 is in the rear with a Detroit locker and 4.11's. The paint is old and many battle scars surround the truck but it is hardly noticed with all the mud...The truck spends 80% of it's life off-road.
