John "Guppy" Guthrie's 1978 Power Wagon Rebuild
John bought his 1978 Power Wagon 3 years ago and started the rebuild project shortly afterward. John gave it a HI-Pro 318 with a rebuilt 727 transmission. He put in a NP208 transfer case from a 1985 Ramcharger. He also put installed a front Dana 44 with a Detroit locker and a 9.25 3.55 gear with a Detroit locker in the rear. He added a small lift and 33/12.50/15 Mickey Thompson tires. John painted it John Deere green with a yellow John Deere stripes in the back.
John installed a winch bumper he found in Flagstaff, Arizona along with an 8000 pound Warn Winch he bought from a Mesa 4 wheeler friend.
